WooCommerce quickstart

Requirements

WordPress 6.4 or later, WooCommerce 8.0 or later, PHP 8.1 or later.
An iCryptex API key (message @portmanto; keys are issued on request) and a connected xPub (see the API quickstart).

1. Install

Log in to the dashboard, open Downloads and download the plugin zip. Check its SHA-256 (shasum -a 256 <file>) against the value shown there.
In WordPress open Plugins > Add New > Upload Plugin, upload the zip and activate it. WooCommerce must be active.

Installed copies check for a new version every 12 hours and install it only when its SHA-256 matches.

2. Settings

Open WooCommerce > Settings > Payments > USDT (TRC-20):

API key: your sandbox key (pk_test_).
Webhook signing secret: the whsec_ value shown once in the dashboard when you save the webhook URL (step 3).
Mode: Sandbox until your test order works.

3. Webhook URL

The plugin receives events at:

Copy the Webhook URL shown on the plugin settings page into the dashboard (Plugin > Settings > Webhooks), save it and paste the signing secret into the plugin. If a webhook is lost, the plugin checks pending orders every 5 minutes and when the shopper opens the order received page.

4. Test order

Click Test connection in the plugin settings, then enable the method.
Place an order in your store and choose USDT (TRC-20). The shopper is sent to the iCryptex hosted checkout with the amount, a QR code, the address and a timer.
Pay with Nile test USDT (see Pay it on Nile). The order is marked paid when the payment is confirmed on TRON.

When the test works, ask for mainnet access in @portmanto; an admin issues your live key (pk_live_). Add it and switch Mode to Live.

Notes

Store prices in USD, EUR, RUB, INR or BRL are converted to USDT at a rate locked for 20 minutes. The Free plan covers up to 3 fiat currencies per period; when your store currency is not supported, the method is hidden at checkout.
Underpayments put the order On hold with a note; you can use Accept as paid. Overpayments and double payments are flagged.
Refunds in USDT are not available in this version; they come in a later release and are signed in iCryptex Keyring.
Shopper data sent to iCryptex: order total and currency, order id and key, store and webhook URLs, store language and a short description. No shopper name, email, phone or address.
